Another Favorite is the famed Pere Marquette River located in Baldwin, Mi. The PM is located an hour and a half from Grand Rapids. This river is revered by many as a fantastic Fall Salmon fishery. The Pere Marquette River offers very good early season Salmon fishing and excellent Trout during the Summer months.

The White River in Hesperia is another wonderful river. The White River is a bit smaller than the Pere Marquette but offers anglers much less fishing pressure in a very peaceful environment. The White River is an excellent Steelhead river. And fishes very well during the Spring months.

Without a doubt, the most prolific Salmon river in Michigan is the Manistee River. We guide anglers on the Big Manistee during August and September for fresh-run chrome Mansitee River kings! (Chinook Salmon) The Manistee River offers the best salmon fishing that Michigan has to offer.
